Yoga and Mindfulness-based practices are a promising way to enhance sustained attention, improve focus and foster emotional intelligence in children.

I have years of experience working with kids on yoga and broader wellness. In 2019- 2020, I worked with Yoga for Wellness Africa to develop a Mindfulness & Yoga curriculum in Tanzania. I also implemented a randomized controlled trial for pre-school students to measure impact rigorously, discovering that the regular practice of yoga in the classroom could produce sustained improvements in behavioural and learning outcomes.

From increasing flexibility to building mental resilience necessary for competition, yoga offers a wealth of benefits for athletes. 

I've worked with national-level athletes at top universities, including the tennis team at the world-renowned Indian Institute of technology. In training them for an international competition in Spain, I helped them come up with a routine that would help them relax and get into the zone. I combined physical training with talks on the philosophy of yoga to maximise performance under pressure.
